Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc. (TAIS), Storage Device Division
introduces the new 1.8-inch HDD 5GB Type II PC Card hard disk drive MK5002MPL
(HDD1232) packs high capacity into a PC Card format, providing additional
portable storage and increased mobility for notebook PC users. The new 5GB PC
Card offers mobile computer users the highest capacity available and the most
cost effective solution - especially when compared to other small-footprint HDDs.
It's powerful, lightweight design make it an ideal "bridge" device for sharing
data between systems such as two notebooks, a notebook and digital camera or
other digital gear. The new drive also functions as an external hard disk drive
with robust back-up storage capacities for large multimedia files and
presentations, holding as much information as 3,472 floppy disks or more than 7
CDs.
The Toshiba 5GB PC Card is a portable hard disk drive which fits into any Type
II PC Card slot. It is a Type II PC Card form factor that offers 5GB of
uncompressed, formatted storage capacity! These cards pack all the performance
of a full-sized hard disk drive into a case the size of a credit card. The 5GB
PC Card HDD can be used in notebooks, PDAs, handheld computers, digital cameras,
digital audio players and other portable handheld electronic devices with a
PCMCIA Type II slot. It can also be used in desktop computers equipped with a PC
Card kit.

Iomega Automatic Backup Software CD and an Original Toshiba Protective
