Description:
Hi-Touch Imaging Technologies announces the addition of its new and faster
640PS Photo Printer to the HiTi family. The 640PS is the deluxe version of the
already popular 630PS model and will feature stand-alone, direct printing of
lab-quality photos at an increased 403dpi (equivalent to inkjet 6400dpi). To
keep current with digital photography trends, the 640PS will accept six
different media types (Compact Flash, Smart-Media, Secure Digital, Memory Stick,
Multi-Media Card, and Micro-Drive) directly on the built-in card reader (xD
Picture Card can also be used with an
additional adapter.). The new
machine's cost per print average continues to be significantly less than the
costs of inkjet printing and even more affordable than other dye-sublimation
printing solutions. With sleek looks and a sharp hand-held LCD Wizard Window to
preview and edit photographs, the 640PS Photo Printer will quickly prove itself
to be among the most desired photo printers on the market. The 640PS is capable
of printing with matte surface and glossy effects without changing media.
Additionally, a unique "watermark" can be adding using HiTi's Magic Coating
Technology which also waterproofs the prints and protects them from aging. The
printer comes with HiTi's PhotoDésirée imaging editing software which allows
users to enhance and modify images on demand. Another cool feature is the
ability to adjust individual color preferences for all prints. The 640PS
produces true photo-lab quality prints in only 75 seconds.
No matter whether you are a professional photographer or just an enthusiastic
amateur, the HiTi Photo Printer 640PS is the most versatile and convenient
dye-sub printer you can buy. It is the perfect tool for pre-proof graphic photo
reproduction designed with professionals and photo enthusiasts in mind.
The HiTi 640PS photo printer employs Dye Diffusion Thermal Transfer (D2T2)
technology to deliver 16.77 million color performance. This small footprint
printer produces borderless 4" x 6" prints in just 75 seconds. D2T2 prints have
256 gradation levels per color which are dot-free thanks to continuous tone
printing. It's a 4-pass printing system that transfers yellow, magenta and cyan
dyes from a ribbon to the paper and then applies the Magic Coating overcoat to
prevent water, fingerprint and UV damage.
The 640PS can be operated without a computer thanks to the handy controller and
its 1.6-inch color LCD monitor. Users can preview and print images from flash
memory cards easily and quickly. Using the menus you can select the desired
format (photo paper, sticker sheets), ID Photo, Index Print, etc. You can edit
images before printing (rotate, resize, brightness, contrast, color, etc.)
Select glossy or matte surface without need of special papers or ribbons. The
printer can also be connected to any PC running Windows 98, ME, 2000, and XP
using its USB interface.
Cutting-Edge Bundle Software - PhotoDésirée! For image editing, PhotoDésirée
allows enhancement and modification of images such as cropping, rotating, and
resizing along with further enhancement using the contrast/brightness,
hue/saturation, shadow/emboss, and auto settings. Also, the versatile printout,

- For the purposes of security, all orders must ship to the VERIFIED billing

issuing bank and provide them with an ALTERNATE SHIPPING ADDRESS for them to
keep on file. If you enter a different billing address, or an alternate
shipping address cannot be verified, your order will not be accepted and may
