Description:
With 730GALA's flexible template functions and printout formats, event photos
can be realistically presented. The HiTi 730GALA let you show off your style and
extend your vision easily. The HiTi 730Gala is the top of the range HiTi Photo
printer. It is capable of printing three different sizes of prints: 4x6, 5x7 and
6x8. The 730Gala prints at 300dpi resolution (equiv, to 4800 dpi inkjet printer)
and the results are still stunning! This model is the choice of many
professional photographers that want to print the larger 5x7 and 6x8 sizes.
The 730Gala's greatest strength over other 730 series models is its ability to
allow you to make and use custom templates. A custom template is made on your PC
using the HiTi GalaDésirée software that is included with this printer and can
be used to display a company logo, name or signature or anything on your photo,
even in stand-alone mode. The 730Gala will allow you to superimpose any saved
templates straight onto the photos you have selected to print. With the
730Gala's flexible template functions and printout formats, event photos can be
realistically presented. The HiTi 730GALA will allow Professional Photographers
to create photos with templates without the need for a pc.
The 730Gala will print a 4x6 photo in only 45 seconds! which is significantly
faster than the smaller 630PS which takes 130 seconds (2 mins 10 seconds) to
print the same photo. At either print speed this is still faster than a lot of
Inkjet Photo Printers. Also, using the 730Gala without a PC is simplicity
itself. There are two slots on the right hand side of the front of the unit that
can accept either CompactFlash, SmartMedia, MultiMedia, Secure Digital,
MicroDrive and Memorystick memory. (xD Picture Card can also be used with an
additional adapter.)
Once the memory card is installed in the printer, images can be selected using
the hand controller on the left hand side of the unit. This controller has a
built in LCD screen which allows you to select which pictures you wish to print
and how you wish to print them. If your camera supports DPOF, you can select the
pictures to print on your camera by simply pressing a few buttons on the 730Gala
- the appropriate images will then be printed.
The photo prints are not only borderless but are waterproof, UV and fingerprint
resistant, the special paper used is almost tear proof ensuring that your photo
quality prints stay that way. Prints can be either Gloss or Matt finish and this
can be selected using the easy to use Photo Desiree software.
As with all HiTi Photo Printers the quality is superb, with the ability to print
16.77 million true colors, it's no wonder that some professional photographers
use HiTi photo printers instead of conventional photo labs!
The unit is still compact at 13.4 x 11 x 8.7 inches (34cm x 28cm x 22cm) and so
will fit on even the smallest of desks. The printers only weighs 13.7lbs
(6.5kgs) The 730Gala is powered from the mains and will operate from 110-240vac
50/60 hz with a typical maximum power consumption of 300 watts when printing,
this is much less when in idle mode.

There is no doubt that Hi-Touch has got another winner with this
printer. Just like other Hi-Touch printers, the color rendition of
the 730PS is excellent. So good in fact, that tweaking the image is

- For the purposes of security, all orders must ship to the VERIFIED billing
